If your marked target makes an attack that doesn’t include you as a

the marked target is within 10 squares of you, you can use an
immediate interrupt to reduce the damage dealt by that attack by 6.

Shadow Jaunt (Encounter, Move) * Teleportation
You teleport 7 squares and become insubstantial until the start of
your next turn.

wielding a blade in one hand and have your other hand free.
By spending 1 hour of meditation with a chosen light or heavy blade,
you forge a special bond with the weapon. As a standard action, you
can call your bonded weapon to your hand from up to 10 squares away. You can forge a bond with a different blade using the same meditation process. If your bonded weapon is broken or damaged, you can spend 1 hour of meditation to recreate the weapon from a fragment.

Aden was born in the city of Gloomwrought. As child he was the taught
the commandments of the Raven Queen and to always honor the pact they
made with her. As he grew he took up the ways of blade-magic.
His lessons were cut short. One day while training under the dim
sun of Shadowfell, Aden decided to practice a technique he saw his
master use. The power was far to advanced for the young shadar-kai and he soon lost control of it. In the end he slew his long time friend Zyna. While most of the people of Gloomwrought held no animosity toward the boy, they saw what happened as fate and the will if Raven Queen, his teacher refused teaching him further.
It was days later that the town council decided to banish, with the nudging of his teacher, the boy. Since whast had occured was not a serious offense they could only banish the boy of 50 years or until he had accomplished something no other Shadar-Kai had.
Banished from his home he picked what little he could and made his way
to the Material Plan. He found himself moving toward the town Vaughn,
the home of his late father.
Aden stands at 5’8", with a lean but muscular physique. His skin is
dark grey, almost black. Like most shadar-kai his hair is raven black,
and eyes appear as two black orbs void of any pupil. Unlike most
shadar-kai his body is free of piercings, as he found other ways to
inflict pain and excitment while back home. He wears a blue hair
ribbon in memory of Zyna.
He comes off as aloof and detached. But underneath that he’s much the
thrill-seeker. A good man heart he’s willing to stick with his friends
no matter what fate may bring. As of late though he’s taken on acting more “human”, especailly after meeting the beauty, Hasnett. The attitude was adopted from from his former companion Kooky, and is how he “picked up the ladies”.
This is Aden’s first late spring in the material world. While the sun
in the shaodwfell is always dim not matter the season, the sun here
shines bright and hot. Not that he minds. For the most part he walks
around with shirtless during the day. “Hey it’s hot and now seems to
complain”. Unless he has something to so he spends his day lying in
the shade, by the water.
